This is both a take away and eat in cafe. It is very popular and also welcomes dogs.
On a warm bank holiday, there were long queues – a sure sign of a good chippie. Orders were placed at the desk inside and we waited on the pavement for the made up order to be brought out to us in a huge paper bag.
It is the usual menu for a traditional fish and chip shop, although it does say that a vegan menu is also available.
Portions are generous and the small fish and chips is more than adequate! The batter is crispy and it was a solid piece of fish inside. Grandson says the jumbo sausage was also good.
