Reasons for trip

We have just returned after visiting 4 of the islands, unfortunately February this year was much colder than usual, instead of an average of 25C it was between 18-20c. However we enjoyed visiting these volcanic islands, Sal, Santiago (capital island) Sao Vicente (Carnival) and Santo Antao, this island must be one of the most spectacular volcanic islands in the world.

We finished in Sal to enjoy a very sandy beach, no pebbles and shells, just miles of sand.
The islands are building many new hotels and apartments and the roads are also being improved .

We enjoyed our visit and made a very good change from the Canary Islands, well worth a visit
