We were quite impressed by this cave visit. We’ve been on several similar visits during our school trips to France and Germany, but this was probably the best we’ve seen.
The access to the caves, walkways etc were very easy and well maintained and lit, with only a little climbing up and down. The stalagmite and stalactite formations were incredible, with an interesting commentary from the guide. The central huge cavern was particularly impressive, and is occasionally used as a venue for concerts, as the acoustics are excellent.
It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re near Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo area of South Africa. I’ll attach some pics.
