With the Covid restrictions being eased ,and having been triple jabbed, we travelled to London for a short break.
On the first day, we decided to see a bit of the alternative London sights and spent time in Camden Town. There is an eclectic mixture of markets centred around Regent’s Canal with a remarkable range of goods ancient and modern in the labyrinth of stalls.
Along Camden High Street the shop exteriors were imaginatively embellished and there was impressive street art. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink.
It was an enjoyable time and we were immersed in the multicultural atmosphere. If you do decide to explore this corner of London, do wear comfy shoes though, for all that walking!
