I was invited to go on a coach trip to Bygones Museum. Somewhat apathetically i went but it was a fascinating experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Such a realistic concept, wandering down a Victorian street with sounds and smells, peering into chemist shops, bakers, sweet shops and more. Even a dentist (ouch!) plus wartime trench and a steam engine! So much to explore that the time whizzed by. All generations would love this.
Nice little cafe offering simple refreshments. Would like to revisit with my Grandchildren one day.
