Burghley Park is a great place for a day out. The contemporary sculpture garden was one of the highlights of my visit. There are over 20 sculptures dotted around the gardens, and each one that you find is a delight. Do try and find the silver hare, and the teddy bears picnic, which were my personal favourites. You really must visit the garden of surprises too, which is the most fun garden I have ever visited, just try not to get wet! There are fountains, a maze, statues, grottoes, a sundial and obelisks. I loved it here!
