Whilst the Hotel is approx 10 minutes walking distance from the Old Town, and 15 mins walking distance from the Tallinn-Helsinki ferry terminal (a suggested side daytrip if you have time to spare), the Hotel lacks in all other aspects (eg badly placed sockets, water stained ceiling tiles, no room soundproofing) and has a distinctive Soviet- era feel and look about it – the only thing missing is a Babushka on each floor.
