Reasons for trip

I would like to nominate the Buckfast Butterfly and Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary, the two attractions are side by side with easy parking nearby. The staff are fantastic, particularly in the Otter Sanctuary who were very helpful with wheelchairs users, making sure they are situated at the front to see the shows. The otters themselves gave much pleasure with all the antics and the butterflies next door wonderful as we walked around among them, some landing on us. The pathways are wheelchair friendly and seating available for tired legs. A gift shop is well stocked and a café in the carpark available for refreshments. Also 5 minutes walk using the same carpark is the steam railway. A multi ticket gives discount for these attracions. Enjoy!
