I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Lovely rooms, comfortable, and ours also had a small kitchenette which we didn’t use to cook etc but it was so handy to have access to a fridge and glassware etc. Location is great – close to the waterfront, shopping streets, castle, Alfama, Bairro Alto, also, a very reasonable 17 euro fare from the airport by taxi (and close to the metro station, so we were brave enough to travel back to airport by metro for about 2 euros each). The hotel offers breakfast in its own coffee shop a block away (buffet style) and the lobby itself has a free coffee machine, internet access, and is a cool place to sit and relax in itself. It’s also a lovely old building in a typical Lisbon downtown narrow street, I would not hesitate to stay there again, especially at the price (not many capital cities where you would get this value). Very quiet street for such a central location.
