If you fancy a break in a delightful B & B, in a very peaceful location with super views over the garden & fields, I would recommend Bridge Cottage.

The Owner, Mrs Young, goes out of her way to provide a very friendly welcome & there are lots of lovely extra-special touches such as fresh milk, bottles of cold water, nice biscuits, selection of Twinings Tea Bags & a comprehensive directory on the local area (Fotheringay Castle is in the next village & Rutland Water is just a few miles away) & nearby restaurants etc.

There are a number of twin-bedded rooms & our en-suite double room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated & had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a number of options & all of the food is locally sourced, which is a bonus.

I would definitely recommend Bridge Cottage & we will stay there again if we are visiting the area.
