We decided that the cocktail making class sounded like fun, and it was.We went to this first before seeing the rest of the distillery. There were about twenty people sat at long tables. All the ingredients were set out. We made three delicious gin cocktails, helped by a fantastic instructor. You can pick up the recipe sheets to take home. It was such a laugh and would be great for a party or hen night.
Afterwards we wandered around the rest of the distillery. Had an interesting talk on the way it all worked. Then we had a cocktail in the bar. There was quite a long wait for the drinks but it was very pleasant sitting outside by the river. There is a shop to buy the gin and other cocktail making acessories, but these are overpriced.
