Reasons for trip

Museum is based on industrial revolution in the Black Country. A unique museum where actual local buildings have been dismantled and rebuilt on site, includes shops, houses, social clubs, schools and industry and displays working examples of many industries including drift mine and steam hammer etc. Lovely sweet and cake shop alongside replica fish and chip shop were can buy your dinner made with lard and with batter bits as well. Fairground includes stalls and old attractions such as cakewalk and helter skelter. For extra charge can also go on canal barge trip through local caverns. All in all a full day out that is both educational and fun.
