This was our third stay in the Banyan Tree where we are always made to feel special. All rooms are excellent but we were upgraded to a junior suite which was pure luxury. We are both in our mid 70s but there are plenty of lifts and few stairs. The breakfast is superb with a massive choice of fruit, cereal or more substantial food and a self help selection of Thai and other Far Eastern foods. We always opt for the "Club" facility which costs a little extra but provides free snacks and drinks, alcoholic and otherwise, practically all day and makes it well worth while. On the outside roof of the hotel, about the 32nd floor, there is a superb outside restaurant and bar. Too expensive for every evening but a fantastic experience and not to be missed. The staff cannot do too much for any guest.
