We needed to stay in a reasonably priced but largish apartment between Roath and the City Centre to help move in our son, visit another son and attend the fabulous Millennium Centre for Cats the musical. We found the AQ apartments at a price of £88 a night (peak season) for a large double bedroom, a very large and well equipped kitchen/lounge/dining area and separate bathroom. This proved to be much better than a 4 star hotel in that we could entertain visitors easily without having to use a hotel cafe/restaurant/bar, have our own light lunches, brekkies etc and be close to town (a stroll through Bute Park). Key was located in a code operated box in lobby, The only criticism was the duvet in summer – we took it out of its cover and used that instead!

I would heartily recommend these apartments. They have different sizes and some apartments have Wi-Fi. Parking round the back was easy, fabulous well priced eateries were within easy walking distance nearby, location set well back from the road in a lovely large, quiet Victorian building along Cathedral Road. Also easy to drive out and onto the M4 afterwards. Will use them again.
