We are about to return to these apartments which are situated on the road known as Cesar Manrique, centrally located from the main beach strip. We had a brilliant visit in April last year and because they are so inexpensive and in such a good location we are returning towards the end of February 2013. The apartments are located above a supermarket which is excellent for buying bottled water as it is quite a steep hill from the beach road and I really wouldn't want to carry heavy shopping up the slope! The apartments were clean, comfortable and incredibly inexpensive. They have a kitchen featuring cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and 4 ring hob. The pool is small and although it is not heated it was a comfortable temperature in April. The pool is deep though and I wouldn't recommend it for families with children as the 'shallow' end was still around 1.5 metres deep. The apartment had a private sunny balcony and was in a quiet location. My only concern was regarding the security of the apartments. We did not have any problems but the reception was staffed intermittently and I was concerned when we arrived and couldn't get a key to the safe. Our apartment key was left hanging in the door of the apartment and there was a note on the stairs telling us which number we were in. On the whole this was a great little complex and I would recommend it for anyone on a budget looking for a central location. Be warned though, the walk from the beach is very steep and anyone with breathing or walking problems should avoid the hill.
