We read online that it was a small friendly and family run hotel – exactly right. The two brothers who own the hotel were really friendly and helpful, as were all the staff – especially Carrie Ann, the waitress, who worked really hard and was always pleasant and cheerful.
The hotel and the rooms were clean, bar and restaurant were fine. Rooms are basic but the owners are renovating throughout for the next year.
We stayed on half-board and the food was plentiful and tasty – good choice for breakfast and a choice of 3 mains for evening meals
The evening entertainment was ok – nothing special but a bit of fun. The Rock Queen of Cyprus was the exception – she was really good
The pool area was clean and a great place to relax – although guests tended to put towels out and try and reserve sunbeds despite not actually using them for most of the day whilst they went down to the beach – the management did ask people not to put towels out before 9.00. There is a second pool area at the rear which is also fine
The hotel is ideally situated for both the town and beach – nice to be able to walk along the sea front in the evenings along the promenade. Plenty of good restaurants within easy reach.
It must be a good hotel for the number of guest who return year on year is amazing. When we were there 9 of the couples had been there before from between 3 and an amazing 26 times!
WiFi is free and reasonably fast in the reception and lounge but not in rooms.
Snacks and bar prices were reasonable – with a handy supermarket for drinks across the road.
Cheap booze can be bought from Bootleggers just 5 minutes walk away.
We hired a car to travel around – most of the ‘archaeological sites’ were the other side of the island towards Limasol – roads and driving easy.
We would certainly go back to relax again.
