We recently attended a performance of Stomp! at the Ambassadors Theatre London. This theatre is an old fashioned Frank Matcham type theatre, and is quite small. We had seats at the front of the circle and had a very good view.
The show consists of percussion rhythms made with all types of things, including yard brooms, dustbin lids and kitchen sinks complete with water!
There is an element of comedy at times in the show, and some audience participation. But no dialogue, and no interval the show is one complete performance of about 90mins.
If you enjoy this type of music it is a great and enjoyable show. Just good all round entertainment.
