Reasons for trip

This was our 3rd visit to the hotel and I can’t believe how quickly it has gone downhill.Staff are off-hand, the corridor carpets are dirty and the bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired.

The restaurant is expensive for what it is. Salad, but no cold meat or the usual stuff to go with salad. Plenty of tired pizzas (YUK) and some (very sloppy) lasagne. Fancy a bowl of soup? “We don’t do soup” Don’t even think about having a cup of coffee to accompany your meal – the machines are switched off.

Breakfast has a very limited choice, but -in fairness – if you want a coffee, it is available if you’re prepared to wait for the one machine that IS working. (Why, on earth, aren’t there spare machines that can be brought out?

Our previous 2 visits had been OK, but this hotel has reached the point at which it should be closed for complete refurbishment, staff training and a total rethink on the food offering.

WE WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!

One of the 2 lifts wasn’t working and children and suitcases on a staircase are an unsafe abd unhappy mix.
