If possible ask the concierge at your hotel to make the booking for you, we always book for a massage to be included.
On arrival you are taken to the male or female changing room where you will be allocated a locker, you choose your own code to use to lock it, no change is required. Towels are provided along with covers for outdoor shoes. Your visit includes the use of three baths warm, much warmer and a small ice bath, as you move through the different baths and leave the ice bath for the hot bath your skin is unbelievably tingly. There is also a salt bath and a huge powerful jacuzzi.
I enjoy an exfoliating massage followed by a relaxing fragrant oil massage. The masseurs are young ladies who don’t speak English but it is easy to communicate your wishes to them. I understand that there is now an area on the roof for a relaxing drink but can’t confirm. We have always had the complimentary mint tea in the relaxing salon. When you are ready to leave you will find shower cubicles with body wash and shampoo provided, there are also hairdryers so you are able to leave feeling respectable.
As the baths are in the Barrio I would recommend getting there by taxi as it can be very difficult to find the baths.
