It’s now possible to go on a tour of Holyrood Palace after hours. The group of about 20 people have their own tour guide who knows the history of the Palace and its occupants very well. We were taken to all the rooms and even one not usually open to the public. Afterwards a drink of bubbly and a mince pie in the gift shop.
