Reasons for trip

Went here close to Christmas and they were very busy. It is a very nice Bar and Restaurant – part of the Royal Exeter Hotel close to the town centre. Good food and nice cocktails, expertly made. The whole place had a nice feel to it. The only downside is that Bournemouth is very hilly, and to reach it from the town centre you would have to walk up a steep hill, or get a taxi for about £4 from the Rank to take you up the hill – recommended!
