The museum has the most wonderful exhibits, especially the jewellery and glass. It is free but has donation boxes around. It only has one cafe which is a nightmare. It has several counters,of food e.g. Salad, hot food, sandwiches made to order, cakes, drinks and these have no tills. So if you want drinks, hotfood and a cake, and to pay you will queue 4 times. That's if you can find a till! I had a slice of salmon 4 inches long by one inch, two slices of courgette and a lettuce leaf and that was £13.95. Muffin £3. Lesson learned take your own sandwiches to the separate dining room. There is a lot to see so you could be there all day. There are exhibitions on but even with concessions these came to £12. I live outside London and the whole day could have cost me nearly £65 if I had gone to exhibitions as well.
