If the queues are anything to go by, this must be good. Situated on the main road through Blyton, we have often driven past it but never called in. It was a hot day, so we decided to treat ourselves to an ice cream.
They advertise selling over 60 different flavours, everything from apple pie to walnut whip. We were boring and settled on vanilla for me and chocolate for Michael. A medium ice cream cost £3.30 and was two huge scoops of ice cream. They were good and tasted rich and creamy. We've decided we must call in again.
They also sell sugar free vanilla or chocolate but a quick free taste and we didn't like them as much. They were sweet, a bit synthetic and cloying.
The ice creams are sold from a shop in the rather scruffy car park. There are a few tables and chairs outside, although many people eat their ice creams in the car. There is also a cafe behind the ice cream counter serving all day breakfasts, lunches, afternoon tea and Sunday carvery. There is also a children's play area.
