We visited here recently, and decided to take advantage of the two for one offer for railway travellers. You need to travel to London by rail and have printed off the voucher before your journey.
We choose to watch the film about th Hubble Space telescope. Were surprised we had to sit through adverts as you would at a regular cinema, didn't expect this in a Museum.
The cinema was large, and very tiered, the screen we were told was as high as four double decker buses.
Though interesting, you saw more about the work of the astronauts, who flew shuttle missions to repair and maintain the space telescope than I would have liked. I wished to see more space images, and more information about the scientific breakthroughs that Hubble had enabled scientists to discover.
The astronauts did work in very difficult conditions it was likened to doing brain surgery while wearing oven mitts!
To sum up I'm glad we got a discount, or I would have felt more cheated if we had paid full price.
