Reasons for trip

We had passed Emile’s Fish and Chip shop a number of times on Barbican Road on our way in and out of Looe to our holiday cottage. Towards the end of our stay we decided to give them a go as we had been out all day at The Eden Project and didn’t feel like cooking. We just wanted to hunker down at home and relax. My aunt and I walked the few minutes up the hill and down the street and put in our order. There were a number of other customers eating in and we watched our order being made fresh. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered four cod and two chips. The portions were huge so we could have done with only one order of chips between the four of us. The fish was delicious, nice and meaty and lightly battered with a good crunch; great meal for the four of us for £20. It was well worth the walk and the extra chips came in handy the next day to accompany an omelet.

If we’d called ahead we wouldn’t have had to wait, not that we waited long: 1503 262932.
