Enjoyed a delightful two day break at this lovely hotel. Situated right in the heart of the glorious Shropshire hills. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we could not fault a thing and we were made to feel very welcome.
We stayed in room two which had excellent changing views out over the countryside. The room was tastefully decorated with a large comfortable double bed, two comfortable armchairs, all the usual bedroom furniture and TV plus a freestanding rolltop bath. The bathroom looked recently refurbished with a stunning walk in shower with rainwater showerhead. We stayed on a DB&B basis and have to say all the food was superb with an excellent choice.
The customer service was outstanding throughout our stay, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The town itself is quite charming and a real ale paradise with three brewery’s and plenty of pubs.lots to do in the surrounding area so perfect for a weekend break or longer stay.During our short stay we managed to visit the Long Mynd which has a gliding club if you fancy a flight, Church Stretton and Much Wenlock.
The area is also a mecca for walkers.
