On a recent visit to Exmoor I enjoyed a lovely lunch at this historic hotel in the centre of the pretty town of Dunster. The property oozes charm and tradition with log fires burning in the bar and cosy tables scattered about. The menu includes imaginative dishes prepared with local produce as far as possible. Service was good despite being very busy. I didn’t stay in the hotel but was given a tour of some of the rooms and they are very individual and tastefully furnished. The Luttrell Arms is firmly on my list of places to return to and I would recommend it for anyone wanting a bit of luxury whilst exploring Exmoor.
