Built in 1929, the Heathman Hotel is a Heritage Hotel and one of the finest in Portland. Classic architecture of the time give it a relaxed ambience, assisted by jazz performances in the afternoons. The amazing library has a huge range of books, each personally signed by many famous authors. Comfort and service are the bywords for the hotel which could not be faulted. There is a wonderful chocolate shop within the hotel, serving fine hand made chocolates and hot drinks. The restaurant lives up to its' fine reputation and is very reasonably priced for the venue. A beautiful place to stay in the fexcellent city of Portland.
