Walking

From the moment we arrived at the top of the drive it seemed just right for our weeks accommodation. The cottage was across the farm yard from the farm house, on this attractive sheep farm that the Williams family are the 7th generations. The accommodation was just right for us, two bedrooms of a very good size with extra beds available for children if required, a light and airy feel every where. excellent bathroom and shower in the bath was very adequate. It was very clean and in excellent order with a good kitchen, very well equipped and good dining area as well as a comfortable lounge. Plenty of reading matter as well as tourist information available, all the cottage has good views across the farm, I sat and watched the buzzards in the evening in the trees in the drive. The whole Williams family were very welcoming, especially there two sheep dogs who we really enjoyed watching them work with the sheep. I can recommend a stay here if you want to explore the three counties, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion., we will definitely return here as we spent most of the week in only one. Pembrokeshire has a marvellous coast line, so varied with lots of interesting Castles, gardens and other interesting places.. If you have not been to this area you really must not delay any longer and a stay in Y Cartws is such excellent value to make this a holiday to remember for you too.
