Reasons for trip

A special treat for my 66th Birthday in April took us to the Vale, reading about this Hotel made me want to try it, and we were not dissapointed. The resort is geared for sport, Spa and leisure so something for everyone.

Our spacious room although not one of the better ones had everything we needed including a lovely Balcony overlooking one of the golf courses, lovely comfy bed and a luxury bathroom with toiletries.

We had a delightful Afternoon tea in the Conservatory which was top notch, also ate in the Sports Bar twice which was also good and great value for money. The Bar was large and had three partly separated areas each with there own Television, which whilst we were there were turned down which was good. Lovely spacious bar with plenty of room and comfy seats. The menu although not extensive had enough choice and at good prices, snacks & meals all day.

They also had a main Restaurant & Champagne bar which we did not try, there is also more places to eat and drink outside the hotel. We had Coffee & Toasted Teacakes there, also very good.

Lovely grounds to walk around and apart from Golf there was also Football & Tennis, probably more which we did not see.

To finish off we spent some time in the Spa, Sauna, Steam Room & Jacuzzi which were separated from the Swimming Pool and I believe no children allowed. The Swimming Pool was also a good size.

Summing up we had a lovely break in a very nice Hotel that I can definitely recommend.
