Popped into the Unicorn Inn whilst visiting Ambleside recently – wooed by the “Robinsons” sign on the outside- and not disappointed – usual array of fine beers on offer ( always been a “Dizzy Blonde” kind of a guy ) – but really impressed with food on offer – what I observed going on around were well stacked plates of good looking enticing aromas – I was really pleased with my home made chilli and my wife enjoyed her steak – the pub is just off the one way system at the top of the town – really handy for lots of the local b & b’s apartments etc…well worth a “drop inn” 🙂
