Walking

My friend and I booked a two night stay at this wonderful location. The accommodation was in a small block with each room having french doors and direct access to the vineyards which stretch away down the hill. Each had a small private patio with table & chairs separated by vine clad trellis. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. They were just starting to harvest the grapes and we were able to take a vineyard tour with wine tasting, see how the wine was made and sample the various wines bottled and sold there. The award winning restaurant also overlooked the vineyards and the food was excellent as was the shop selling the wines and related products. Resident guests were free to walk around the vineyards during the day and evening and there was plenty of wildlife to see.

There is an “excellent website”:http://www.three-choirs-vineyards.co.uk which details the facilities and from where you can re-order your favourite wine for home delivery but I am going back again soon to do it all over again. It was a gem!
