Reasons for trip

I was fortunate enough to visit Tate Britain recently. Having not been not since its huge makeover I was very keen to see how it had changed since my last visit several years ago. It’s a super gallery which displays a wide range of exhibits, both modern and classical, which for me is the major selling point. I love the vast contrast in material and also that the gallery isn’t overly extensive to the point of being exhausting to get round.
The cafe is pleasant and not too expensive. The Tate is located in a lovely setting opposite the Thames; just a stones throw from the Houses of Parliament so it is conveniently placed for exploring London after your visit.
