If you are travelling on the Eurostar this hotel is a great place to stay. We upgraded to a Chambers Club room – these are in the original part of the hotel and our view was over the platform to the Eurostar. There was no disturbance from noise. The facilities in these rooms are good, although could do with more lighting and a mirror next to where the plugs are for the hairdryer! You get the facilities of the Chambers Club room with free Wi-Fi, drinks, snacks etc., which was excellent. The Barlow rooms are all in a modern extension to the hotel and don't get the facilities of the Club. Its location isn't wonderful, however for sightseeing in London, and taxis to the West End are expensive, although there are buses and tubes easily accessible. Take the tour of the hotel (complimentary for guests), the history of the building is really interesting. We had a lovely meal in the Gilbert Scott restaurant.
