Went to Portmeirion for a couple of days to see the village and stay in the Portmeirion Hotel. Fabulous experience, fabulous atmosphere, everything was beyond my expectations. The architect, Clough Williams-Ellis, who designed the village and made it his lifetimes work to build it, is one special guy. Also for those who watched “The Prisoner” cult tv series in the late 1960’s with Patrick McGoohan, this is a must visit.
