Wonderful house, so much to see, beautiful views from the beach.
Our visit was spoilt by the half hour queue for a very expensive, dried up sandwich in the cafe. English Heritage you have to improve on this. Most people have travelled a long way by car and ferry to visit and expect good food to be available at a reasonable cost. Not everyone can afford the cost or the time to experience a sit down waitress service meal in the restaurant.
