Reasons for trip

My youngest daughter is at university in Manchester so I decided to have a day coach trip to the Christmas markets in the city centre but mainly as a good excuse to go and see her (do I need an excuse?). It was a lovely day but oh so busy, we looked around all the stalls which were more like little cabins and everyone seemed happy and full of Christmas spirit. We queued up for pancakes, squashed like little sardines but my, they were delicious. We had chocolate and fresh strawberries. A lovely day out, as cheap and cheerful or as painless and pricey as you want to make it. I have to say though, I was glad to get back onto the coach and head for home.
