Reasons for trip

Spent an enjoyable day visiting La Coupole. I use an electric mobility scooter and this attraction is fully accessible with lifts taking you to the different levels. Disabled parking is next to the entrance so is very easy. Once inside there is so much to see. We spent an hour to begin with watching a documentary about the D-Day landings, which was very informative, and then went upstairs to visit the many exhibits etc about the development of the V1 and V2. If you have limited time I suggest you do not spend it all on the role of the Coupole in WWII, but save some time for the space exploration displays, and how these tie in with the rocket research initially carried for the V1 and V2s.
