Reasons for trip

We went to the Norman and Saxon day on the last bank holiday, and it was great. There were nearly a hundred people dressed up and three events of storming the castle. During the break of action your could walk round the encampment, talk to the men and women in dress up and ask any questions. They let you look at the weapons, clothes and costumes, even trying them, and birds of prey.

Brilliant day out all that and look round the castle in ruins.

A nice teashop but the only the shop was a bit pricey.
