Reasons for trip

Da Nico Ristorante is located in Mulberry Street in the Italian quarter of New York. Loud, brash and full of life it is great place to enjoy some real New York Italian style. With plenty on the menu, the pizzas are huge. Very popular with locals it has a family feel about it. With outdoor and indoor seating there is also a courtyard at the rear. I found the whole experience great fun but get there early as it fills up very quickly. The staff work extremely hard and there is plenty of banter. A lot of the customers tended to be Italian which is always a good sign and there was plenty of chatter between tables. It has a great atmosphere and I was impressed with the quality of food and the selection of wines. Guests are really welcome and the establishment has a real ‘edge’ to it. I found that I quickly got the feel of the place and enjoyed the experience which was definitely full on !
