Reasons for trip

It was a bitterly cold day in Lincoln and we had our in laws with us. Desperate to get out of the cold and for some warm food we entered Carluccios restaurant on the main shopping street before getting close to the famous Stokes coffee shop and restaurant. The warmth hit us as we walked through the door and we were made to feel welcome. I had a pasta dish with spinach and herbs inside like ravioli..very different but enjoyable. My husband had spaghetti carbonara and my in laws had the same with a glass of wine. It was a popular restaurant and I can see why it’s busy with people.just right for a spot of lunch on a cold day. Not too expensive either.
