Reasons for trip

Last October I did a Rhine/ Mosel cruise where it rained most of the time. We arrived in Traben – Trabach for the afternoon and were told that it was ‘all about the wine’ As it was raining, many stayed onboard but I went exploring on my own and discovered this incredible Buddha Museum, Whatever your feelings about religion you could not help but be affected by the immense beauty and peace within it, with many places to sit and ponder or meditate. A couple of people saw me from a distance and came to join me. It was one of the highlights of my cruise.

Moral of this story is to never be put off by the weather and just follow your nose and explore where the thrill of discovery could be waiting just around the corner.
