Reasons for trip

Special occasion

I sailed on the Aurora in September.

It was a medium sized ship ,and had a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. The food was superb. We were very lucky with the weather and sunbathed most days. The service was excellent and our cabin was kept spotless.

It was my birthday onboard and I had choccies and a card from the captain.

We loved the ports of call, but were glad that we had booked a shore excursion in Aldesnes – the Ramla Railway, which was very atmospheric.

The entertainment was mainly fun, with a sixties theme show, but there was a really good comedian and a girl that was brilliant on the violin.

There were always plenty of activities on board and we even went to the cinema one day.

We had Anytime Dining which suited us really well, as it fitted in with all the activities really well and we enjoyed the buffet also.

Great value for money and perfect for a relaxed cruise.

Dress code was mostly smart casual with a few black tie evenings.
