Personal / family celebration

This place was a beautiful old brownstone house a stones throw away from Central Park and 5th Avenue. It has been converted into apartments which are from 1 – 3 bedrooms in size. Ours was on the 4th floor and there is no lift, the stairs were very steep and winding so taking your luggage up and down was hard.

The actual apartment was lovely with lots of original features and antique furniture. We stayed in the Madison Suite which has 3 bedrooms, the downside was there was only one bathroom so between 4 of us there was quite a queue every morning for the shower etc. The kitchen and lounge area was also connected to the main bedroom so it wouldn’t be suitable unless you were family or very close friends staying together as you had to go through the main bedroom to get to the kitchen.
