Reasons for trip

Nova Scotia (New Scotland in Latin) is the perfect destination for a fly drive holiday. Yes they drive on the right but the roads are good, there is little traffic and the parking is easy and mostly free. In places more Scottish than Scotland where tartan abounds the proximity to the sea offers delicious seafood. The lobster and Digby scallops are not to be missed. Flying time is less than 6 and a half hours if you take a direct flight to Halifax so it is very accessible. Give it a go. You won’t be sorry if you like the great outdoors mixed with history huge tides and whale watching.
