Reasons for trip

This hotel is well placed for easy access to the main city which is within easy walking distance, well placed next to the marina and overlooking the natural reserve. The bus station with regular buses to the airport is just a couple of minutes walk away. The train station with links to the rest of Portugal is also within easy walking distance.

The hotel is extremely clean and caters for all tastes. All staff speak extremely good English and are very friendly. The quality of the food is very good and varied, the roof top swimming pool is well maintained with a cafe/bar. There is also an abundance of nearby cafes, bars, restaurants. One of the most reasonable we found was Bella Italia a small restaurant on the main road just opposite the hotel, with a varied menu and very friendly staff all of whom speak good English.

The city itself is full of interesting shops of all kinds, there is a cathedral and a couple of museums, one of which on the front is small and linked to a beautiful church and is free to enter. One thing which is very noticeable is how clean the whole city is which, is a credit to the Portuguese.

Along the marina are boat trips to visit the nature reserve varying in price, there is also a dotto train to take you around the city.

All in all, Eva faro Portugal a pleasant place to visit and stay.
