Variety Cruises return to Cape Verde

After a 3-year absence from the islands, Variety Cruises are delighted to announce their return Explore the archipelago of Cape Verde with its intoxicating mixture of African and Portuguese heritage and its welcoming locals.

Once a former colony and slave trade outpost, the Cape Verde Islands of today offer a spellbinding blend of African and Portuguese influences in their architecture, food, customs and traditions. Being blessed with a pleasant year-round climate, the archipelago offers a diverse range of landscapes from verdant mountain ranges, lush hills and jungles to explore, to volcanic landscapes or wide deserted beaches.


Their 8-day Islands of Cape Verde Archipelago cruise sails from Palmeira on Sal Island to visit Sal Rei on Boa Vista, Praia on Santiago Island , Sao Filipe on Fogo Island, Mindelo on Sao Vincente Island and Porto Novo on Santo Antao before returning to Palmeira. Sailings from 26 November 2022 – 19 March 2024.
