For many carers of loved ones living with dementia, holidays might seem like a luxury that is beyond their reach. Dementia Adventure understands the importance of getting away on an essential break and are offering 25% subsidy on their breaks plus further financial support for those who would be unable to afford a much needed getaway.
They currently have spaces on two Christmas-themed holidays aimed at delivering the break you need with some festive fun thrown in. Both holidays include a ‘Dementia Adventure Christmas Day’ with Christmas dinner, games, songs and everyone in their Christmas jumpers. Fun-filled itineraries include activities such as seal spotting, alpaca walking and gardens.
Norfolk: 5-9 December 2022: staying in the heart of the Norfolk countryside just 9 miles from the North Norfolk coast. Includes the Thursford Christmas Spectacular and Steam Train trip on the North Norfolk Railway light spectacular.
North Yorkshire 5-9 December 2022: staying in a luxury barn conversion in the friendly village of Appleton-le-Moors. Here you’ll find beauty, peace—and the famous Yorkshire warm welcome. The area offers moorland walks, stunning coastline, picturesque market towns and historic sites.
