Swan Hellenic is proud to introduce SH Vega, the latest addition to its fleet and SH Minerva’s twin. SH Vega left dry dock earlier this week and will be taking guests to see what others don’t in the Faroe Islands and Iceland. This maiden 11-day voyage will depart on the 29th May from Leith (Edinburgh).
The twin-sister-ships Minerva and Vega, both ice-class expedition cruise ships, are custom-built for extreme weather conditions, from the heavy ice of the polar regions to the heat and humidity of the tropics. Both offer 5-star accommodation for 152 guests in 76 cabins and suites. Sister ship SH Minerva embarked on her maiden voyage in late December 2021 and is currently taking guests to explore Antarctica.
Relaunched in September 2020 to proudly continue the spirit of cultural expedition cruising pioneered in the 1950s, the new Swan Hellenic builds on its British roots, with a global cultural cruising outlook aimed at providing guests with the opportunity to ‘see what others don’t’.
