After reading other reviews on this hotel, I thought I would be left very hungry as they gave the impression that they were served very meagre rations. This could not have been further from the truth. The Continental breakfast was as it is in other hotels I have stayed in – plenty of fresh rolls and bread, cheese and at least three types of ham, eggs, jam, tea and coffee. The evening meals were plentiful and well cooked, the soup being served in a tureen so we could help ourselves, there was a choice of three dishes for the main course and a simple dessert. The hotel is only rated as 2 stars superior, some previous visitors seem to have expected 5 stars service. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable, the radiator worked (which hasn't always been the case in some 4 star hotels I have stayed in), and the TV had many channels, most of them were in German but there was also CNN for the news in English. All in all, very good for the price paid.
